This page is specifically for any concerns, issues, praises, and comments on what works and what doesn't for the new Moodle (Online 2).
*Double forums - won't let you delete one when creating another *Can't change the password to a familiar one - Yes, when you change it in your email! *emails are getting lost to remind students of class starting *Students are locked out after 3 attempts to login and we can't reset the system *Forums were not allowing replies in the cloned courses - instructors had to delete the old and create a new. Also, it doesn't track read and unread messages. *Moodle doc dots are not available in all areas for the students - students can't find them. *Only students that are starting class Sept 10 or 17 have been given Moodle access. *Students can't upload a working document without attaching to an assignment *When uploading something with the same file name the old one is deleted. (with no warning) *When editing assignments, it says how many are submitted but not how many new are submitted. It says it even if I've graded them already. Also, there should be a spot where we can attach documents to their posted assignments. For instance if they submit a word document, we can track changes on it and when we submit the grade upload the change tracked document at well. *Students cannot add comments/links etc when they upload their documents *Need to "open" class to have students see the course. (in settings) (same in educator though) *The Locked Icon in the gradebook - means UNLOCKED - it is the action that you want to do.
